Toni Beatty, center, is presented the 2009 Rio Rancho Rotary Club’s Zimmerman Community Service Award, by Kathryn Kenning, left, and Lawrence Robinson. Beatty’s contributions to the community span 22 years. She retired in 2008 as the City of Rio Rancho’s Library Director.
