Waste Management collection schedule adjusted for Thanksgiving holiday

Published on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 10:32 AM MST

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Waste Management of New Mexico’s curbside residential trash and recycling pick-up will be adjusted as follows: Thursday, Nov. 27 pick-up will be collected on Friday, Nov. 28; and Friday, Nov. 28 pick-up will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 29. Regular collection will resume on Monday, Dec. 1.

Routes might run faster than normal because not everyone will be home for the holiday, therefore it is recommended that residential customers place their containers out for collection no later than 7 a.m. to ensure service.

“On behalf of Waste Management of New Mexico, we wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday,” said Alberto Guardado, market area general manager of New Mexico. “And thank you for your cooperation during the holiday pick-up schedule adjustment.”
