Art Jemez art exhibition opening coming in early August

“Shelter In Place” is a juried invitational art show running from Aug. 2 through Sept. 1 at the Mission Street Gallery, 45 Mission St., Jemez Springs. The opening reception will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 2 with a closing reception Sept. 1 from 2 to 5 p.m. The curator of the show is Harriette Lawler, and the gallery owner is Mike Murphy.

Paintings, photography, collage, and sculpture are among the artworks to be featured. The artists represented:


Jim Forcier-Call, Helene C’ de Baca, Theodore Greer, Erica Kane, Harriette Lawler, Linsay Locke, Kristen Mendenhall, Betsy Miller-Kusz, Mike Murphy, Kathleen Wiegner, Susan Vigil, and Linda Vi Vona.
