Interference with officers

Billie Jo Cisneros, 32, of Colorado Springs, was arrested for disorderly conduct and interference with an officer, at 10:30 p.m. on June 28 at 901 Unser Blvd.


Joshua M. Shaber, 19, 100 Elm Ct. in Rio Rancho, was arrested for interference with officers, at 2:23 a.m. on July 1 on the 1600 block of Veridian.

Shoplifting

Michael A. Lucero, 30, of Zia Pueblo, was arrested for shoplifting, disorderly conduct and vagrancy at 7:15 p.m. on July 1.

Jenifer Marie Mouton, 27, of Westlake, La., was arrested for shoplifting at 3:13 p.m. on July 1 in the 900 block of Unser Boulevard.

Unlawful use of license

Toby M. Archuleta, 25, was arrested for the unlawful use of a driver’s license, following too closely and two warrants from Bernalillo County at 7:23 p.m. on July 1 at 19th and 31st streets.

DWI

Jonathan Lewis, 22, of Rio Rancho was arrested at 8 p.m. on June 17 at Fruta Road at Northern Boulevard on DWI and careless driving charges.

Margo Martinez, 19, of Rancho de Taos, was arrested for DWI (first offense) and inability to maintain traffic lane at 4:35 a.m. on July 1 at Zaragoza and Unser.

Jonathan Robert Lee, 23, of Albuquerque, was arrested for DWI (fifth offense) and possession of an open container at 1:56 a.m. on July 1 at 4501 Sprint Blvd.

Unlawful taking of vehicle

Anthony Vigil, 20, of Rio Rancho was arrested at 10 p.m. on July 3 at the 2000 block of Palenque Drive for the unlawful taking of a vehicle.

    " Punishments for DWI offenses are laughable in NM. You can get arrested for aggravated DWI and a slew of other charges, and by the time it goes to court, they drop almost everything and reduce the charges that are less. Why aren't people punished for what they actually DO? "

    " Looks like we need to target young drivers on DWI. Maybe DWI/Defensive Driving class for all people who are turning 21. They would have to have an indorsement on their license (like organ donar) before being permitted to buy alcohol. Graphic photos from the class may deter them from driving drunk!!!! "
