Even though the Santa Ana Star Center's doors are not yet open and it is nearly a month until the first event, ticket brokers are starting to take notice of Rio Rancho's newest attraction.

So far, it is the Blue Man Group's "How to be a Megastar Tour 2.0" that seems to be drawing the most attention, as a variety of online sites are offering tickets to the event.

The tickets, however, come at a premium cost, with brokers charging nearly quadruple the ticket price in some cases. There is even a wide range of prices for the same seats. TicketTriangle.com has seats in Floor section 6, row 9, listed for $189 each - it also has tickets listed as Floor, row 12, for $156. Coast to Coast Tickets, meanwhile, has those same Floor 6, row 9, tickets for $200. Tickco Premium Seating is selling those seats for $225. But TicketCity.com is topping them all, selling those seats for $234.

Floor seating near the stage through the arena's ticket agent, GetTix.net, are going for $86 after a $6.50 service charge. For the seats in question, in section Floor 6, GetTix is charging $59.50 after a $5.50 service charge. There is also a third price level for the event, costing $48.50 per seat after a $4.50 service charge. There is also a $3 handling fee for all orders. Tickets are still available in all areas.

"Why would somebody pay more for a ticket when they can still get them through us?" arena manager Sean Langer asked.

Langer did say that it was nice to see the arena being noticed by these ticket brokers, a sign that there is a market for the Star's events.

Tickets to other events have not yet been offered online, but sales have not yet started for many of those shows.
