The Walgreens store manager, Karl Lucero, told police that Fink, 18, set off the alarms when he walked out of the store's exit before 3 p.m.
The manager then took Fink to the office, where the teen revealed a Durex-brand Pleasure Pack, valued at $12.99, that was in his pocket, according to the police report.

The condoms were left in possession of the store, which is located on Enchanted Hills Boulevard.
Fink's mother said Friday she did not know her son was cited for shoplifting.
"That's news to me," she said.
She said that her lack of knowledge of the events was not the reason she declined to comment.
"I wouldn't if I did (know anything)," she said.
Fink was a high school standout in soccer and baseball. In the fall, he was the starting goalkeeper for the Rams, and he manned second base on the baseball diamond.
His teams had banner seasons this year, with the boys soccer team advancing to the 5A state semifinals and the baseball team made the playoffs but failed to advance to the quarterfinals.
In April, Fink signed to attend Regis University (Denver), where he's expected to play soccer and baseball.
